Job Description
Now Hiring! Looking for someone who has a passion with working with kids, provide a fun environment, and also has knowledge of child development and socialization along with substance abuse and the effects on family systems. The children will range from 6 weeks to 12 years old. You will only be providing short term care during 2 to 3 hour group times and scheduled doctor's appointments. If there is downtime, you will be required to help out with administrative duties such as making folders, packets, etc.

Position Responsibilities:
- Supervises all children under the care of the Child Care Specialist, utilizing on-site child care room.
- Communicate and enforce all guidelines of the Child Care to the appropriate staff.
- Provides a safe, nurturing environment to children in the Child Care Center.
- Develops and carries out appropriate children’s activities based on the ages and needs of the children.
- Will complete administrative tasks for Program Support team when child care is not scheduled, i.e. photocopying, entry-level data entry, assembling program packets and folders.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus experience providing childcare.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- CPR training required.
- Basic knowledge of child development and socialization.
- Basic knowledge of substance abuse and effects on family systems.
- Basic knowledge of administrative functions.
