Job Description
Provides in home counseling, mental health, and substance abuse services to severely emotionally disturbed children and their families in accordance with the agencies strategic plan while adhering to agency policies and procedures.

Home Based Therapist - Full Time, full benefits package and Part Time Fee For Service position available. The Full Time position will be between the Brighton Center Scholar House and the Part Time Fee For Service will be held at the Covington office/community based. 


Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides individual, couple, family and group therapy as dictated by client needs.
  • Provides direct clinical services to client under agency policies and programs under the regular supervision of assigned supervisor.
  • Performs a variety of casework duties, including analysis of assessment data, formulation of treatment plan, and implementation of the treatment for increasingly complex cases.
  • Increases analytical, psycho-social and theoretical diagnostic skills and resourcefulness in developing treatment processes.
  • Considers and uses treatment modalities that are best suited to each individual client and evaluates client progress in meeting treatment goals.
  • Has knowledge of a variety of treatment approaches and modalities including: Trauma Informed Care, Motivational Interviewing, Systems theory and strength based approaches.
  • Learns and uses CQI skills, tools, and principles as appropriate to the job and participates in CQI activities as needed.
  Position Requirements:
  • Master’s degree in social work or counseling.
  • Kentucky licensure required (CSW or PC)
  • Prior experience working with children and families through work and/or internships.
