Job Description
This position involves working with consumers in all phases of the Supervised Employment program including: vocational assessment, job readiness, job placement, and employment support.  Responsible for developing individualized employment plans with consumers, providing one-on-one job/task analysis, orientation and job training, and other training and support as required to assist consumers to successfully complete the Supervised Employment program. 

Position Responsibilities:

This position involves working with consumers in all phases of the Supervised Employment program including: vocational assessment, job readiness, job placement, and employment support.  Responsible for developing individualized employment plans with consumers, providing one-on-one job/task analysis, orientation and job training, and other training and support as required to assist consumers to successfully complete the Supervised Employment program.  The job duties require knowledge of the population served, vocational rehabilitation, educational resource connection, service coordination, and  interagency collaboration.
 
This position requires the ability to work effectively with diverse people and populations, understand work and personal adjustment methodology, demonstrate skills in direct service provision to persons with disabilities and/or barriers to employment; cultural competence; knowledge of mental illness and addiction, treatment and management, crisis intervention and engaging/disengaging effectively with clients; ability to work within a team; strong interpersonal and communication skills; self manages difficult or challenging situations, a high degree of emotional intelligence, remain positive when approached with changing demands and responds accordingly; willing to accept personal responsibility; ability to acquire/evaluate information, to define and coordinate processes to achieve outcomes; deal with concepts and complexity comfortably; understand the reasoning behind key program and organizational polices, practices, and procedures; committed to continuous improvement; demonstrates the ability to orchestrate multiple activities at once to accomplish goals; and strong computer knowledge.

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Business, Human Services or related field and with at least one (1) year related experience preferred.
  • Position requires use of personal mobile phone.
  • Position requires frequent driving of own vehicle.
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle and insurable driving record are required.
