MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (1st SHIFT)

Job Description
The Maintenance Technician supports and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives and strives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. Plans procedures for the layout, construction, installation and maintenance of all production and office machines/equipment
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Ability to read manufacturing equipment drawings and electrical and plumbing schematics.
•Previous experience with hand tools and precision instruments.
•General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
•Detail oriented with ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
•Strong knowledge and ability to use hand tools and welding tools, as well as troubleshoot electrical systems.
•Flexibility of work schedule.
•Working knowledge of general computer programs.
•PLC, MP2, 5S skills.
•Familiarity of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulics concepts.
