Job Description
We have two brand new positions available (1 in Butler County and 1 in Clermont County) working with individuals experiencing opioid addiction and helping them to gain employment opportunities in the community.

Position Responsibilities:

This position is part of an Ohio Opioid Emergency Transition Grant received by the Region 12 Workforce Development Board as part of the Dislocated Worker funding through the Department of Labor.  This position will liaison with community entities to identify and connect clients eligible for dislocated worker funds to the grant.  The position will also work with area businesses to increase awareness and promote the grant while also connecting eligible clients to employment opportunities.  The position requires that the candidate work closely with the Ohio Means Jobs Centers in both Clermont and Butler County.

This is a grant funded position, which ends in December 2020 with the potential of continued employment beyond the grant period.   Position requires use of own vehicle and travel throughout Clermont and Butler Counties.

Worksite Locations: Clermont position will be located at the Ohio Means Jobs- Clermont worksite, 2400 Clermont Center Drive Batavia, Ohio 45103.   Butler position will be located at the Ohio Means Jobs – Butler worksite, 4631 Dixie Highway (Route 4) Fairfield Crossing Shopping Center, Fairfield, Ohio 45014

Position Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Human/Social Services or related field with two years related employment services experience.
  • Firsthand experience with opioid addiction, including a friend, family member or oneself preferred. 
  • Position requires use of personal cell phone.
  • Position requires frequent driving of own vehicle.  Valid driver’s license, car insurance, and insurable driving record required.
