Provide payee services to referred GCB clients. Based upon a client’s individual needs, establish a plan that aides in financial stability. The plan includes determining weekly and monthly disbursements and maintaining all support documentation in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.
Position Responsibilities:
Provide payee services to referred GCB clients.
Based upon a client’s individual needs, establish a plan that aides in financial stability. Plan includes but is not limited to, creating a workable budget in which basic needs such as rent are paid on time and determining weekly and monthly disbursements. In addition maintaining all support documentation in accordance with policy and procedure guidelines and applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with care manager to assist in budget plan.
Maintain a professional relationship with Social Security and other community resources.
Facilitate client intake process.
Position Requirements:
High School Diploma.
Two years experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
Knowledge of Mental Health or Social Services.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and accounting software.
Customer service skills for communicating with clients, co-workers, and outside agencies and ability to meet weekly and monthly deadlines required.
