Job Description
Use your expertise to make a difference as a Diagnostician/Clinician helping Forensic Behavioral Health clients!  We have a position available at our Batavia Office. This position will work mostly in the jail setting.

The ideal candidate will have an Ohio LSW or LPC or SWT or CT and experience working with individuals receiving treatment for severe mental illness and substance use disorder.  This is a great position for someone with a BSW/LSW or MA/LPC who wants to get experience and attain their independent license!  This is also a great position with a BA and SWT or CT license who is in school for a MSW or Master's in Counseling.  We offer $1,500 per semester tuition assistance for a MSW or Counseling degree.  We also offer free license supervision hours and continuing education credits.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing diagnostic assessment and counseling services to individuals with severe mental illness and substance use disorder in a jail setting.
  • Provides diagnostic information, assesses overall level of functioning, and develops individualized, medically necessary treatment recommendations for individuals.
  • Col­laborates with others, both in the professional community and within the client's natural environment, to assess the individual’s current needs for treatment.
  • Collaborates with other team members in identified program for assessment, crisis management, and treatment planning. These treatments are provided in accordance with best practice, professional ethics, and boundaries.
 
Position Requirements:
  • LSW or LPC required or SWT or CT license within 6 months of obtaining LSW or LPC.
  • Pay differential for LISW or LPCC.
  • Experience working individuals receiving behavioral health treatment.
