Job Description
Now Hiring! We are looking for someone who has a passion with working with kids, provide a fun environment, and also has knowledge of child development and socialization along with substance abuse and the effects on family systems. Provide short term care to children up to age 12 during 2 to 3 hour group times and scheduled doctor's appointments. Position Responsibilities:
- Supervises all children utilizing on-site childcare room.
- Provides a safe, nurturing environment to children in the childcare room.
- Develops and carries out appropriate children’s activities based on the ages and needs of the children.
- Serves as back-up for administrative tasks for Program Support team when childcare is not scheduled, i.e. photocopying, entry-level data entry, assembling program packets and folders.
- High school diploma or equivalent plus experience providing childcare.
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- CPR training required.
- Basic knowledge of child development and socialization.
- Basic knowledge of substance abuse and effects on family systems.
- Basic knowledge of administrative functions.
