Job Description
Are you a registered nurse and want to help individuals (adults and youth) suffering from a mental illness?  We offer a full benefits package including Paid Time Off (17 days per year to start), Holidays, Health/Life/Disability Insurance, Retirement with Employer Match, and Tuition Benefits!  This position can be flexible with hours and will primarily be working office based but may require some community work. 75% clinic and 25% community based. This position will include working with the transitional youth age group! No nights or weekends! 

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides direct services to patients within a psychiatric nursing focus to include: medication education including names of medications, dosages, action, side effects, risks, visual identification of psychiatric medications and the affect of substance abuse, allergies, medical history and drug interactions.
  • Position is clinic based but may serve clients in the community.
  • Promotes holistic healthcare in collaboration with other disciplines.
  • Mental and physical health examination in relation to symptoms and psychiatric medications.
  • Assessment of psychiatric medication effectiveness; their actions, side effects and complications.
  • Psychiatric medication administration including injections.
 
Position Requirements: 
  • Ohio LPN required, RN preferred.
  • BSN strongly preferred.  We offer tuition assistance benefits to help you obtain BSN or MSN.
  • Experience in working with persons with severe mental illness preferred. 
  • Position may require driving own vehicle to see clients in the community.
