Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is looking for a Peer Case Manager candidate for our Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic in Amelia. We now offer a $1,200 annual bonus ($300 per quarter) in addition to our competitive salary.
We are looking for candidates who are current or former behavioral health consumers with a BA in Psychology/Social Work/Human Services or a HS Diploma and a minimum of 3 years of related mental health experience. This position is part of the Clermont Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team. ACT Team Members serve as members of a multidisciplinary team and provides services as both a specialist and a generalist to all the team’s clients. Clients on the ACT team are those who meet ACT Diagnostic criteria of severe mentally illness, whose functioning is significantly impaired by their mental illness and who have not been successful with traditional care management services. Clients may be dually diagnosed with a co-occurring substance use disorder. The Peer Case Manager establishes therapeutic relationships, assesses complex problems, selects problem-solving interventions, and helps clients to function effectively.
Responsibilities for Peer Case Manager:
