GCBHS has an immediate opening for a licensed Social Worker (LSW or LISW) or Counselor (LPCC) to help children and families as a School Based Therapist at Elmwood Place Elementary School in Cincinnati, OH.
We are now offering a new new $3,000 Sign On Bonus for LSW or LPC or $4,000 for LISW or LPC.
The ideal candidate will have an Ohio LSW or LISW or LPCC and experience working with children and families in behavioral health treatment. Due to license supervision, we prefer to hire a Social Worker or an Independently Licensed Counselor.
This is a great position for a LSW who wants to get experience and attain their independent license! We offer free license supervision hours and continuing education credits for a LSW.

Through counseling, case management, and group services, our licensed therapists help students and families realize their potential and overcome challenges. The School Based Therapist role provides mental health therapy services to children and families in a school based setting. Connect with principals, teachers, students and parents to develop rapport and trust to grow caseload
The requirements for this job include:
- MSW or MA-Counseling.
- Ohio LSW, LISW, or LPCC. We offer a pay differential for LISW or LPCC.
- Prior experience working with children and families through work experience and/or internships.
- Be flexible to negotiate the politics of the school.
- Must be available to counsel families after school hours.
