Job Description

Join our mission to help individuals with mental illness and addictions to lead healthy and productive lives.  GCBHS has an immediate opening for a Family Support Specialist/Case Manager to help children and families as a School Based Therapist at Elmwood Place Elementary School in Cincinnati, OH.

We are now offering a new new $3,000 Sign On Bonus.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field and experience working with children and families in behavioral health treatment.

Join our multidisciplinary treatment organization as a member of School Based Services team.  Through counseling, case management, and group services, our case managers and therapists help students and families realize their potential and overcome challenges.  Schools see better academic performance, and the community at large benefits from having healthier children and families.


The Family Support Specialist/Case Manager role provides mental health case management services to children and families in a school based setting.  Connects students with appropriate services and counseling therapy.  Provides transportation and support to children and their families to access resources.

The requirements for this job include:
  • BA Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services degree.
  • Prior experience working with children and families through work experience and/or internships.
  • Position requires driving own vehicle.  Valid driver’s license, car insurance, insurable driving record, and vehicle are required.
  • May need to be available to work with families after school hours.
