Overall Summary
As Project Engineer or Sr. Project Engineer, you will be responsible for quality, timely design and development of products which have significant impact on the company's short, mid, and long-term sales goals. You will have direct responsibility for the commercialization of these products. In addition, you will develop laboratory testing plans which will ensure safe and efficacious products that meet the design specifications and the company's quality standards.

Skill Requirements
The position requires the ability to evaluate problems related to design, development, manufacturing techniques and quality assurance of product designs. This position requires significant creative thinking. You will be expected to spearhead resolutions to problems and present alternative solutions to problems. Resolutions to problems may be determined by you or by a collective team effort, depending on the scope and magnitude of the problem. Competent in the fields of orthopedics, orthopedic research, biomaterials, experimental and analytical stress analysis, fatigue testing, CAD/CAM skills, geometric tolerancing and a working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
Accountability
In this position, you will be accountable for design, development and the function of current and existing products to support global business goals. Limited supervision is required.
Experience Requirements
Project Engineer: Minimum 5 years' experience in product development and design
Sr. Project Engineer: Minimum 7 years' experience in product development and design
Education Requirements
Project Engineer: Bachelor's degree required; Master's highly preferred
Sr. Project Engineer: Bachelor's degree required; Master's and/or Ph.D. highly preferred
