Job Description

DanfossinLoves Park, ILseeks an Embedded Software Engineering Internto support new product development for Summer 2022. The preferred candidates will be at junior standing or above.This position will be 40/hr per week during the summer with possibility for part-time for fall semester.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

  • Contribute to new product development as part of a Scrum team.
  • Know and follow software engineering best practices.
  • Design, develop, debug, test, maintain, and deliver software features.
  • Work with: C++, Simulink, Azure DevOps,Git, Python, and PLC application development.
  • Other duties as required.
Background & Skills

The ideal candidate possesses these skills.

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Will be a junior or a senior during the fall semester.
  • Experience with C++ is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Matlab / Simulink, Python, and DevOps is desired.
  • Interested in learning about embedded software engineering/technologies that are used to develop embedded code for industrial products
