Integrated Counseling Community Therapist - Full Time
This position will work in the community and in-agency partners to provide mental health counselingto individuals, couples, and/or familiesthat is representative of cases within the agency.

Provides expertise in utilizing therapeutic techniques appropriate for each client’s needs, to include Brief Solution Focused Therapy, and other best or evidence-based practices.
Provides in-home individual and/or family therapy with moms in the Every Child Succeeds program.
Provides individual and/or family therapy in the community with clients referred by community partners.
Ability to create, implement and evaluate treatment plans according to individual client needs. Ability to re-assess client’s need for therapy throughout process.
Knowledge of spectrum of mental illness, symptomology, psychotropic medication, and problems presented in adjusting to life cycle changes. Ability to diagnose appropriately using DSM 5.
Ability to assess for potential danger to client or others and how to effectively intervene.
Works collaboratively with team including other therapists, care managers, supervisor, clerical support workers, and psychiatrists to provide service to clients. Ongoing communication is necessary with all team members.
Makes intra and/or inter-agency referrals as appropriate.
Ability to maintain accurate, timely treatment records for each client. Excellent verbal skills are necessary to clearly communicate with clients and other staff. Ability to read and understand clinical reports and professional literature.
Submission of treatment plans, clinical and billing documentation according to the agency’s paperwork policies.
Responds to email and phone calls within 24 hours.
Provide face-to-face service hours based on agency productivity standards.
Attends regular supervision as determined by level of experience and size of caseload and reports on progress on clients and administrative aspects of the position
Attends and participates in monthly Integrated Counseling clinical meetings
Participates in organization and system committees/work teams as delegated
Master’s degree in Social Work or couneseling at minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work with licensure.
Licensed by the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Board (LSW, LISW, PCC) or otherwise credentialed to provide Counseling and case management services.
