For this role you must be a qualified Medical Practioner and a specialist in Cardiology. You will have several years working as a Physician, be a recognised expert in Cardiology, experience of Clinical Trials and the Pharmaceutical sector.

The Senior Cardiologist/Cardiac Safety Expert will help lead our consulting solutions practice in Cardiac Safety. This is a phenomenal opportunity to work at an industry leader, interface with clients and leaders in the clinical trial industry. Internally, you will partner with other ERT departments including Marketing, Product Management and Business Development in developing and implementing Cardiac Safety Strategies, and provide assistance and Cardiac Safety consultation to ERT clients.     Assist in reading ECGs and Holters, including assistance with Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA & QC)
  • Interface with other departments and executives regarding cardiology issues, cardiologist activities, cardiac safety consulting, and cardiac safety strategies.
  • Represent ERT in discussions with clients concerning prospective or ongoing work.
  • Assist the Chief Medical Officer in developing and maintaining policies and procedures for Cardiology, including Cardiology Review Guidelines, Cardiology Review SOPs and other matters relating to Cardiology.
  • Keep abreast of the latest scientific developments in cardiac safety.
  • Work with the Sales team to provide sales support as required.
  • Provide consultative services, protocol development and expert report writing services to clients and supervise the consulting service.


  • Board Certification in Cardiovascular Diseases required.
  • Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology training required.
  • Minimum of 5 years Clinical cardiology and electrocardiography experience.
  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical drug development process.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry in cardiac safety, cardiovascular therapeutic area, or general drug safety.
  • High ethical standards with commitment to represent ERT to the highest standards.
