Role description and opportunities

We are looking for a candidate who is eager to gain experience across all faces of marketing and communications. We specialize in integrated, multimedia campaign that include digital, advertising, social, television.

The single most important attribute that we are seeking is aptitude. The selected candidate will be highly-organized, proactive and eager to take the initiative for themselves. This role is not for the shy and retiring. We are seeking a person who is hungry to achieve their goals, to create results and to take ownership of the projects they are running. You will need to be highly-capable, driven and a self-starter. Each day will see you involved in several different projects, so you'll need to be able to pivot from one campaign to the next and take responsibility for executing and delivering specific elements of larger multi-faceted campaigns. The candidate will learn a lot in this role but you will be expected to use your own judgment and initiative to deliver the projects assigned to you on time and without hand-holding. You'll be expected to do projects with a degree of autonomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal/external communications - ideation, formulation, distribution, optimization, tracking, etc
  • Planning and activating all elements of Webinars, Town Halls, Team Status, etc...
  • Individual project and campaign support
  • Requires comprehensive skill and knowledge of organization policies and practices.
  • Responsible for providing support to department managers and/or staff.
  • Maintain alphabetical, numerical or subject filing systems on servers.
  • May coordinate special projects and department activities.
  • May order and maintain supplies, prepare and sort documents.
  • Qualified candidate must be highly organized and will perform a variety of general and specific marketing/administrative responsibilities.
  • May be responsible for the preparation of reports, graphs, and presentations, conducting research and illustrating data using spreadsheet, database and graphic software.
  • Act as an information source on organization policies and procedures.

A successful candidate should ideally have these qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience preferred
  • Possess both strategic and effective marketing and communication skills to help drive projects with Marketing managers
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced, results-driven, team-oriented environment
  • Experience working within and supporting marketing teams
  • 4+ years of total work experience within financial services industry is preferred
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as Marketo, Exact Target, etc is a preferred
  • Proficient with Outlook, Calendar, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.
