About this Position:
The Cost Planning Unit Head will develop and implement PowerSports & Products (PSP) product cost strategies across US and Global purchasing organizations including the factory manufacturing strategies to achieve short, medium and long term business plans.


Responsibilities include:
* Unit Head: Directs all assigned staff to assure associate growth/performance, maintains department's expected output, supports business plan/HJC initiatives, manages resources within designated limits, and promotes communication of strategies/results to associates/management.
* Model Cost Planning: Develop detailed cost strategies alongside research and planning unit prior to C-Event that can balance the related strategies from Business, Technical, Procurement, Production, and Sales.
* PSP Cost Reduction: Develop clear targets and tactics on annual rolling basis to support cost reduction efforts to support business plans.
* Manufacturing Strategy Planning Support: Support ATV/SxS component manufacturing strategy in alignment with cost planning to assure competitive and sustainable business structure.

Who we are seeking:

Required Work Experience:
* 12 years minimum of related work experience, preferably in PSP or Automotive field

Required Education:
* Bachelor's Degree in related discipline
Desired Skills:
* Sound knowledge of PSP development process
* Thorough knowledge of company division/department functions.
* Strong management, mentorship & process improvement skills
* Ability to negotiate with diplomacy
* Excellent multi-tasking, prioritizing, and decision making skills
* Ability to positively influence & motivate team members
* Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
* Strong relationship building & conflict resolution skills

Additional Position Factors:
* Hybrid (in office 60%/week)
* Travel 30%
