The Interventional Radiology (IR) department provides state-of-the-art technology with minimally invasive techniques, allowing patients to receive cutting-edge healthcare for a wide variety of disease processes. Nurses in IR will work in a dynamic environment providing individualized care to a wide patient population in a variety of radiology settings. IR nurses will have the opportunity to learn and grow in an exciting, evolving field of medicine that will challenge and enhance professional experience with both low and high-acuity patients. To maintain the nursing staff in all areas as well as to deliver safe efficient age specific nursing care to patient/families.

What you will do

• Routinely provide patient care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Maintains employee records.
• Identifies needs for and provides Staff education/staff development.
• Participates in Discharge planning, community resource referrals, and education.
• Committee involvement, participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversees daily operations of unit/area in a cost-effective manner.
