We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Relationship Management to join our Treasury Services Business Development and Sales team. This role is located in New York, NY, Pittsburgh, PA, or Lake Mary, FL.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Drive Treasury Services revenue by prospecting and sourcing new client relationships and growing existing client portfolios
  • Conduct comprehensive client analysis to identify trends and insights across Cash Management, Payments and Trade and develop recommendations to leverage BNY Mellon's core solutions
  • Partner across the firm to leverage relationships to proactively showcase and grow Treasury Services solutions, and proactively build and manage relationships with key internal stakeholders
  • Lead business process reviews related to sales opportunities and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to ensure full understanding of client requirements and providing an optimal client experience
  • Offer strategic guidance and ideas to product managers to develop and refine solutions and offerings based on client feedback
  • Address complex client challenges by collaborating with internal stakeholders to address and remediate as appropriate
  • Provide thought leadership and industry expertise to clients and prospects at industry roundtables, conferences, client events, webinars and more

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Advanced/graduate degree preferred.
  • 7-10 years of total work experience preferred.
  • Treasury expertise - deep industry knowledge across working capital optimization, cash management, liquidity, FX with Broker Dealer and Regulated Fintech experience
  • Successful client track record
  • Stakeholder management and executive communication - ability to influence across the bank and deliver executive level communications
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Applicable local/regional licenses or certifications as required by the business

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $98,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
