Purpose:
The Aviation Maintenance Instructor is responsible for the delivery of world-class training to the employees of the Berry Aviation, Inc.'s (BAI) Maintenance department and related contract personnel. The incumbent will teach, educate and coach BAI's Maintenance Training Program and related directed courses including, but not limited to: 14 CFR part 135, 145, and 91, Safety, Fire Training, Human Factors, Drug and Alcohol, HAZMAT Familiarization, Basic Aircraft Movement, Jacking of Aircraft, Suspected Unapproved Parts, General Maintenance Manual, Forms, Deferred Maintenance, MTLM, aircraft familiarization, Receiving Inspector, Airworthiness release, and engine start/taxi/run. Additional curriculum and material may be required. This role is also expected to develop and maintain related course-ware, training aids, and related administrative processes and procedures.
