Full Time

Salary Range: $80,000.00/Yr. - $103,000.00/Yr.

Overview: Under the supervision of the Manager, Project Management Office, the Project Manager (PM) works cross-functionally to successfully deliver medium to large projects. The Project Manager uses independent judgement and discretion while following an established project management approach and methodology to delivery projects, typically using a waterfall methodology. The PM serves as the primary point of project communication and ensures all phases of the project are followed. The PM may also assist clients and the sales team in planning, scoping, scheduling, and determining requirements during the pre-sales phase. The PM contributes to the development of the team by mentoring less experienced Project Managers and Project Coordinators.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides project management services for medium to large moderately complex service delivery projects, including servers, route/switch, cloud provisioning, imaging, IT equipment repair.
  • Works with sales, business development, solution engineers, and cross-functional project managers to deliver complex solution offerings.
  • Plans project by collecting relevant historical information and contractual agreements.
  • Creates tasks and gains approval for project plan to deliver contractual and SKU-based services to deliver project requirements.
  • Develops schedule, communication plan, and stakeholder engagement plan.
  • Collaborates with Quality and Engineering to create checkpoints and readiness assessment.
  • Proactively creates and executes risk mitigation plan and issue logs.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for the project.
  • Mentors less experienced project managers.
  • Monitors and controls the project, including potential scope changes.
  • Uses problem solving skills and follows escalation path as needed.
  • Monitor project health, implement remediation plan if project moves to yellow or red status.
  • Confirms milestone completion and ensures project is completed on time.
  • Maintains project tracking and provides status updates.
  • Monitors and controls stakeholder engagement and customer satisfaction.
  • Performs project close, solicits project feedback, and documents lessons learned.
  • This is a hybrid role with a minimum of three days per week onsite at the Wilmington, OH Technology Integration and Distribution Center. 
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Minimum years of work experience to qualify for role: 4
  • Total years of work experience to be fully proficient: 6


Required competencies:

  • General proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite with experience or being able to quickly learn the product. Microsoft Project; Status reporting tools; Time tracking and reporting tools; Use case development; Scrum project management; Agile development; Burn down charting.
  • Advanced knowledge of SharePoint with ability to manage multiple sites.
  • Possesses strong planning and negotiation skills.
  • Possesses strong facilitation and meeting management skills.
  • Advanced Project Management skills with ability to perform project initiation, development, implementation, scope management, status reporting and implementation.
  • Ability to analyze informational requirements and needs, identify problems, provide technical advice and consultation, and ensure efficient computer systems utilization; analyze data and develop logical solutions to problems; interface effectively and cooperatively with computer system users to maintain efficient system utilization; monitor system utilization and recommend appropriate revisions to processes, procedures, and operations.
  • Understanding of the complexities of scheduling in a matrix organization.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities with competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Additional preferred competencies or preferred qualifications, if any:

  • Project management certification preferred.
  • Prior experience in similar industry preferred.
