We are seeking a Marketing Manager (MM) to support growth and development of our strategic Food & Beverage (F&B) segment, with responsibility for 1-3 sub-segments. The MM will monitor market trends and drivers, understand competitiveness for their sub-segments, and identify new growth opportunities while driving innovative products to market that delight our customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive short term, annual, multi-year business strategies to achieve MCC sales and profit targets
  • Understand and align to KPIs for F&B segment performance; assess current offerings against key customer requirements and competition in assigned sub-segments
  • Act as the Project Success Leader to drive innovation project(s) to launch and accelerate commercialization while engaging with internal and external partners
  • Identify and capture customer problems and consumer insights to contribute to a feedback-driven short- and long-term technology roadmap that feeds a multi-year innovation pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with product development to fill the portfolio with promising concepts
  • Conduct qualifying and quantifying screenings to value and prioritize concepts in the pipeline
  • Tailor marketing strategies, value propositions, and program recommendations for existing portfolio of products to help customers within sub-segments achieve their goals and accelerate growth
  • Keep current on market/sub-segment intelligence including market incidents, changes to F&B/Sub-segment regulations (i.e. Food Safety legislation), significant new technology and analytical advances
  • Partner with Sales to drive differentiated programs that lead to new business gains, growth in existing accounts and retention of top accounts within sub-segments
  • Drive results through knowledge-based relationships collaborating with Marketing teammates, Sales, R&D, Product Development, and Tech Services
  • Participate in customer interactions that contribute to business insights and results
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of professional/marketing experience
  • MBA in Marketing
  • Demonstrated leadership skills - setting strategy, planning, critical thinking, orchestrating cross-functionally, team-building, overseeing multiple project elements and proven record of results
  • Experience leading a market segment in a Business-to-Business (B2B) service model
  • Proficiency in creating, driving, and managing projects/programs in a global organization
  • Ability to develop and present strategies to sales teams and management to gain alignment
  • Food & Beverage industry experience, manufacturing knowledge and/ or experience with corporate or plant level decision makers
  • Team player able to build relationships with colleagues and business partners across the company
  • Ability to timely and efficiently manage a large volume of projects and transactions
