Work Scheduler/Metering Services Coordinator -

Under general supervision, is responsible for providing support to the Team Leader and help oversee business operations within the Metering Services team.

Establish work schedule in work order management systems and adjust as needed to ensure work orders are paired with qualified crews and completed within scheduled timeframes.

Analyze system and business processes and recommend areas for improvement.

Serve as point of contact to provide support to contractors performing metering and service work.

Maintain department training records.

Works with others to prepare fully coordinated plans and logical sequence of activities.

Coordinates work order activities with other business units including materials management, engineering, and construction.

Coordinates work order activities with other companies and contractors.

Communicates the plan to all company stakeholders who will play a role in successfully completing the work.

Provides work performance analysis on a per job, per crew basis to be used for crew performance evaluations.

Counsels and advises personnel on assignments, maintains effective controls over accuracy of work performed, participates in such work as required to meet schedules, directs investigation of discrepancies, and analyzes abnormal conditions.

Perform other similar duties as needed.

Required Skills and Abilities:

* Vocational or technical training

* Strong computer skills with verifiable experience in database applications and /or project management software

* Effective written and verbal communication skills

* Must be able to facilitate and communicate effectively with others

* Team participation and experience is essential

* Must be results oriented, self-motivated with strong multi-task capabilities and able to work with limited direct supervision

* Must be able to analyze reports and summarize information for management decisions

* Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to properly prioritize projects and tasks
