As a Senior Director on the Synthesio team, you will be joining a passionate and entrepreneurial group of social and digital experts dedicated to delivering impactful business solutions to the world's biggest brands. You will partner with Fortune 500 clients in tech, retail, manufacturing, media, and CPG to translate unprompted social media data into meaningful, consumer-driven insights with unmatched speed, scale, and authenticity.

What you can expect to be doing:

  • Lead or participate in discovery meetings with strategic prospects and clients, guiding a fluid conversation to understand business needs
  • Synthesize and distill client needs to:
    • Create a solution that maps goals to activities and initiatives, desired outcomes, KPIs and metrics of success, serving as a blueprint to support ongoing client needs
    • Recommend data infrastructure and research methodologies/approaches, workflows to support needs/goals
    • Calculate pricing for technical and services solutions that drive client success
    • Confidently present proposals, research methodologies, frameworks, and case studies to prospects and clients
  • Manage and expand a core book of business, oversee insights, technical deliverables and processes, manage pipeline and forecasting
  • Help clients and internal teams optimize strategies, techniques and Digital Intelligence workflows to generate insights with Synthesio data in an agile and scalable way
  • Oversee and guide processes, resourcing, research approach and plans to deliver impactful and profitable insights deliverables on time and on target
  • Meaningfully contribute to strategic planning, execution and the development of best practices and product portfolio expansion to grow our business in a profitable way
  • Model our leadership behaviors and Ipsos Values (Integrity, Curiosity, Collaboration, Entrepreneurial Spirit, Client First), to develop our next generation of leaders with continuous coaching and development to ensure continuity in succession plans for critical roles
  • Travel to onsite client, prospect and team meetings, events and functions when needed (and possible)

This might be the job for you if you have:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and an ability to confidently deliver clear and concise proposals, contracts, insights and recommendations for clients and prospects
  • 7+ years relevant business experience working in the realm of Social, Digital Intelligence, Research, Digital Marketing or Market Research with demonstrated success across sectors, use cases and client
  • Strong technical knowledge of digital intelligence platforms, taxonomies, methodologies and frameworks
  • Strong leadership skills with proven experience mentoring and developing direct reports
  • Commercial experience that includes business development, solution design, pricing, forecasting, and account planning
  • You're a strategic thinker with the ability to ask thoughtful business questions and translate business requirements, technical and methodological details into benefits-driven solutions and collateral
  • Proactive problem solver with curiosity and creativity; embraces challenges and change
  • Exceptional client-centric focus with the ability to confidently act as a trusted advisor/partner with executives and client contacts
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style
  • Superior organizational skills, including ability to manage and delegate work effectively, attention to detail and demonstrated commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information
  • Ability to prioritize based on scale of impact for teams, clients, and the larger business
  • Highly motivated, self-directed and possess a driven personality capable of working within tight deadlines

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $145,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
