Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable marketing communications intern who wants to jumpstart their career and learn from an experienced team of marketing professionals. You will be an integral part of the overall marketing communications team and work on B2B integrated marketing campaigns. You will be involved through each phase of development, from brainstorming campaign ideas to developing marketing materials to planning events. Under supervision, you will assist with developing marketing assets/campaigns, social media posts, supporting trade shows and special projects as assigned. This role does not have direct reports. Interfaces with corporate/group/division management and staff, as well as outside vendors and distribution.

  • Assist in the creation and editing of marketing assets such as white papers, videos, infographics, blogs, email campaigns, newsletters, etc.
  • Seek and analyze competitor marketing material and digital content
  • Assist in the planning of events/trade shows
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from marketing campaigns
  • Design and present new social media campaign ideas
  • Complete special projects as assigned

- Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications or similar field

- Good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques

- Strong work ethic

- Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite

- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

- Strong analytical and quantitative skills

- Excellent multitasking and organizational abilities

- Strong communications skills
