The Role

Mission:

To facilitate growth of Power Technique's Aftermarket through a strong commitment to the delivery of high-quality maintenance, repair and overhaul of portable air compressors, dewatering pumps, and generators.

Roles and Responsibilites:

• Perform routine, preventative maintenance and repairs on portable air compressors and dewatering pumps in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations.
• Perform diagnostics on malfunctioning compressors and pumps, determine possible causes, and perform repairs.
• Test and document proper operating parameters.
• Provide basic tools for job along with normal maintenance of tools and equipment.
• Provide high level of customer service.
• Develop rapport with customers through effective communication, interpersonal skills, and professionalism.
• Train and assist other service technicians.
• Promote and practice proper safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), always.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What we expect of you?

Experience:

• 5+ years of technical service experience maintaining and repairing industrial equipment is required.
• Experience with portable compressors, generators, or pumps would be highly beneficial.

Education:

A High School diploma or GED is required.

Skills:

• Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
• Troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.
• Willingness to grow within the business.
• Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Travel:

This position will travel approximately 25% of the time.

The salary range for this position is $25/hr to $35/hr based on experience.
