Sales Operations and Planning, Senior Specialist

Job Description:

We are searching for a talented and experienced professional to join an exceptional Sales Strategy and Enablement team.

You will play a key role in designing and implementing cutting edge Sales Operations, Strategy, and Planning processes to help dramatically accelerate growth, decrease time to revenue, and improve client experience and ease of doing business with our firm.

The ideal candidate is an ambitious transformational leader who is also execution obsessed and would bring the following to the job: exceptional attention to detail, laser focus on day-to-day execution excellence, ability to galvanize and inspire cross-functional teams to come together and execute under tight deadlines and pressures of multiple competing priorities.

They must have a can-do attitude, be comfortable with a player/coach role, and be able to engage in both strategic and tactical work across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales planning process
  • Identify areas for process improvement through the entire sales cycle, inclusive of client onboarding
  • Introduce and maintain Sales Operations best practices and policies
  • Work with Strategy, Sales, and Relationship Management teams to help design and run best in class, truly cutting-edge Sales Operations organization
  • Prepare and present sales and team performance reports, forecasts, and recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years in Sales Operations, Sales and Go to Market Strategy, Planning, Forecasting
  • Exceptional project management and strategic planning skills
  • Strong track record of delivering on strategic transformational projects
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and deliver on tight deadlines
  • Exceptional Excel, PowerPoint skills, and knowledge of the leading CRM systems (Microsoft, Salesforce etc)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

BNY Mellon assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $70,000 and $120,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNYM total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
