About The Opportunity

Direct and supervise shipping/receiving personnel to ensure timely shipments are made and product is accurately received while maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide and maintain a safe working environment for all employees, including auditing, addressing unsafebehaviors and conditions, timely reporting safety incidents, enforcing safety-related policies and procedures,and conducting any needed training.
2. Ensure deliveries are scheduled and completed based on available and anticipated inventory and orderpromise dates.
3. Address and communicate quality issues to internal team and external customers.
4. Ensure raw materials are received and accurately placed into inventory.
5. Ensure warehouse and materials are well-organized.
6. Confer with plant personnel and other departments to review activities and operating reports to determinechanges in schedules.
7. Maintain a high degree of plant floor visibility throughout the shift.
8. Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities.
9. Conduct annual performance reviews.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification
Level Required:
High school diploma or equivalent

Level Desired:

Bachelor's degree
APICS CPIM

Work Experience
Required:
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience
* 2 years of experience formal leadership position
* 2 years of experience in a union setting, when applicable

Level Desired:
* 2 years of experience in plastics or fabricationenvironment

Travel Requirements
* 5% - 10% travel
