What you will be doing:


* Analyzes highly complex EPM project requirements to determine impact and/or change to ERP system architecture.
* Evaluates need for architecture changes and conducts appropriate cost/benefit analyses.
* Contributes to technical designs for EPM projects, as required.
* Works with senior management to secure approval for EPM system architecture and/or related components that do not adhere to corporate technology standards.
* Ensures successful implementation of EPM system architecture changes and monitors changes for increased system efficiency.
* Works with EPM Systems analysts to address application performance issues.
* Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
* Demonstrates an understanding of EPM system architecture industry standards and best practices.
* Develops, documents and executes thorough technical test plans and protocols to ensure EPM architectural changes are working properly.
* Provides risk identification role.
* Ensures migrated changes are properly implemented and available.
* Develops and maintains EPM system-level backup and recovery strategies.
* Creates and maintains technical documentation related to EPM system topography.
* Provides information to educate customers and monitors customer satisfaction.
* Proactively determines and resolves potential issues.
* Determines, describes and documents most effective technical approach to define and resolve identified problems.
* Maintains EPM system architecture diagrams, including all related components.
* Develops and recommends new processes, tools and technology that improves EPM system and/or its architecture.
* Handles multiple, highly complex projects from inception to completion.
* Conducts analysis, design and evaluation of EPM architecture capabilities across multiple areas.
* Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you bring:


* Requires six or more years of experience.
* Good understanding of EPM system customization and use of recognized best practices
* Working knowledge of business process flows in an EPM system
* Requires experience in full life cycle development with an emphasis on incremental, iterative development and deployment
* In-depth knowledge of EPM system development tools and languages is required, as well as an in-depth knowledge of EPM system configuration and security
* Strong analytical, statistical and problem solving skills
* Ability to utilize judgment in decision making process and decisions related to job tasks
* Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner
* Ability to understand and apply technical concepts
* Ability to solve problems using learned techniques and tools
* Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
* Flexibility, versatility, dependability

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $123,810.00 - $207,980.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
