Team Description The Collateralized Loan Obligations ("CLO") Shadow Group is a specialized team within the Alternative Investment Services ("AIS") and Corporate Trust Divisions ("CT") of Bank of New York Mellon focused on providing CLO trustee shadow and administration services for our clients that are CLO Managers. The AIS and CT groups operate from Hong Kong, India, Poland, Ireland and the United States. In the US, the team currently operates from Lake Mary, FL

Job Description

Our team is primarily responsible for:

  • Administering multiple complex, client managed CLO transactions, including the analysis and compliance monitoring of the transactions' portfolio, as well as the onboarding of new transactions.
  • Responding to the needs of the clients and working with their management team, trustees/collateral administrators, auditors and other third-party providers related to the transactions.
  • Comprehending, interpreting and analyzing complex legal documents to ensure compliance of transactions as prescribed in the deal documents.
  • Monitoring deal transactions daily to ensure all cash, trades and other activity is managed and recorded accurately in internal systems, working with internal groups as needed.
  • Researching and reconciling cash balances, asset positions and data attributes with the trustee/collateral administrators to ensure both parties are reflecting correct data.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related experience; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferable.
  • Equivalent related experience should include from one to three plus years in previous accounting or finance roles, preferably within the Financial Services field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Systems proficiency in Wall Street Office, Solvas and Everest is a plus.
