Avantor is looking for a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Sr. Technician to optimize our Manufacturing team, delivering results against some of the most complex business and technology initiatives.

This role will be a full-time position based out of our Aurora, Ohio facility. You will have the opportunity to conduct general maintenance activities on machinery and related equipment while maintaining records, troubleshooting problems, and escalating more complex issues.

The team

Avantor's Manufacturing team is part of our Chemicals unit. This team supports the innovation and growth objectives of major laboratories across the globe by helping with the integration of new technology solutions into their lab processes and operations.

What we're looking for

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: 3+ years applicable direct experience in a similar position

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school

How you will thrive and create an impact

• Maintains building electrical system and heating and cooling equipment.
• Performs maintenance or general carpentry on items such as doors, floors, docks, overhead doors, roof downspouts, product racks, materials handling equipment, etc.
• Completes required reports when maintenance tasks are concluded,
• Answers security alarm calls as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
