Duties of this position include performing laboratory assays involving, BSL-2, live human blood and tissue, live mouse work and various molecular biology techniques.
Some of these techniques will include, PCR, RT-PCR, Western blot, mouse blood and tissue purification, Flow cytometry, cell culture of primary human and mouse cells as well as cell lines and others.
Responsibilities Include:
Generation of data, record keeping of data and eventual compilation of data for figures in journal articles or grant proposals.
Routine maintenance of some lab equipment and upkeep of lab spaces as well as tracking and keeping stock of some reagents and supplies.
Help team members with their assays, data evaluation and training.
Troubleshoot person as well as team technical issues.
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. Master's Degree preferred.
1-3 years of relevant experience required. 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
Starting Salary for this position: $42,700 annually
